    Pros

    the best thing about working for this company is coworkers...a lot of hard working staff and leadership team members.

    the lack of corporate communication and support made it difficult to successfully meet departmental goals

    Pros

    The particular HMA hospital that I worked for was accomodating to working mothers and flexible with scheduling.

    Cons

    The pay rate compared to surrounding hospitals was far less than competitive. Management would act like they cared and that employees opinions mattered but it was clear that they didn't.

    Advice to Management

    Become more visible by department rounding and implement a better competitive salary package.

    Opportunity for growth & advancement, benefits are great compared to others in the area.

    Long hours, expectation seems to be that you make your job your life. Poor compensation.

    Pros

    Located in SWFL, excellent weather. Corporate headquarters has small amount of people, you feel sort of like family. Excellent compensation package with bonus and stocks.

    Cons

    Extremely busy, have to serve 70 hospitals in various time zones.

    Advice to Management

    not a whole lot now that the merger is happening, wouldn't matter.
