I have been working at Health Net full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

People are nice. Salaries competitive. Education reimbursement. Option to work from home a couple days a week.

    Cons

Right now there is a lot of uncertainty as many departments are being in process of being sold to Cognizant. Layoffs expected in the coming months for some, others will be offered to rebadge and work for Cognizant.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Too much process to follow. Job becomes more about following overabundance of process rather than getting job done.

I have been working at Health Net full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Flexible work hours
    Gain experience
Better than no job at all

    Cons

    Unprofessional supervisors
    Departmental favortisim
    Un-qualified trainers
    Dishonest supervisors

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Before advancing employees to supervisory positions, instruct them on leadership ettiquite. Department Managers, supervisors, etc, should NOT gossip about lower level employees...to other lower level employees. Instead of evaulating employees on hearsay and gossip..evaulate them on what YOU actually witness!!! Stop playing OBVIOUS favorites, at least pretend to be subtle with favortisim.

I worked at Health Net full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The pay was the best, they are competitive. I was there for 7 years. They also have weekends and holidays off most of the times.

    Cons

Play favorites, a lot of brown noses. and its do as I say and not as I do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Its sad because they already know who will be Management, just go through the steps of interviewing employees, raising there hopes. Its a joke. How hard they work or put time in, does not matter. And the person already knows there getting the position, so of course its all over the office . Very unprofessional.
