They don't follow the 6Ps

Manager (Former Employee)
San Francisco, CA

I worked at Healthline full-time for more than 7 years

ProsThere are no best reasons. If you like clicks, get a job here. If you like to work in San Francisco, get a job here. If you like close to public transportation, get a job here. If you like to eat really crappy food, get a job here.

ConsUnless you are planning to get a senior position here, no bonuses.

Advice to Senior ManagementFind a company that will buy you out. Fire yourselves. Update your website. They fired the CEO and CotB West Shell. You should have fired Dean Stephens, the president, COO, and "self-proclaimed" CFO. Oh, and now interim-CEO. Seriously, Board, you fired the wrong guy.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Company with real IP and ability flounders due to poor leadership and execution.

That's A Secret. (Former Employee)
San Francisco, CA

I worked at Healthline

ProsGood company with a nice life work balance. Dogs are encouraged. Get out of work at a decent hour. Socialize with co-workers is encouraged. The company has real intellectual property that can be leveraged -- is being leveraged -- and can make a difference in consumer's lives. The staff is now leaner after a series of layoffs and the head of product -- a nightmare -- is gone. If people can help company focus on a few things then the company can make some money and become a greater force in the business. Oh, the offices are pretty nice and convenient location.

ConsIt is a cult of personality of CEO who thinks he knows EVERYTHING. He's a good guy, but not an operator and mingles in everybody's business, changes forecasts on his own, does not respect any chain of command.

Advice to Senior ManagementPush CEO to a sales/company spokesman position, hire a real president, and run the business like a business.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
