    Pros

Extremely well branded company with strong recognition. Nice and social atmosphere. Opportunity to grow if you work hard. Promotion opportunities abundant.

    Cons

Your experience is largely determined by what team you belong to. Many senior employees are set in their ways. Sometimes you feel that the work you do is more about working hard than working smart.

    Advice to Management

Invest more in your new employees

    Pros

    Decent pay
    Decent bonuses
Great work life balance - plenty of holidays, 9 to 5, limited work outside of normal business hours, flexibility with working remote when needed
Good people to work with for the most part

    Cons

IT management is scatter brained and politically charged at times
Doesn't do a very good job at retaining talent
No training/certification/skills development built into HR model - If you decide to work here you're on your own, expense what you can!

    Advice to Management

Incentivize and/or encourage training and certification
Do a better job at retaining talent

    Pros

Strong mentoring if you seek it out, collaborative environment, practices pull together and won't let a client/search team down by putting more resources where needed.

    Cons

Be prepared to work at all hours. 110% is expected.

    Pros

Very collegial atmosphere across the ranks, which differs from other top firms in the industry. Firm is moving to a practice-centric model and away from geographic office-centered model: Thus, many in the local office work from home almost exclusively, which is great for them but it builds resentment from those whose boss doesn't permit it. Telecommuting doesn't build loyalty or cohesion within the local office.

    Cons

Internal database, which is the CRM backbone of the company, could be characterized as a prehistoric relic. But there's a whiff of hope in the air for a 21st century solution.

    Advice to Management

Beware of cost-cutting to the bone marrow. When the economy turns around, you don't want the firm to be held together with duct-tape
