I loved being part of the H P culture.

Front Line Agent (Former Employee) Conway, AR

ProsCompany has good benefits and is a great place to work. I believe that the company does too much outsourcing when they have very competent people already on board to service customers needs.

ConsNot much opportunity for Customer Service technicians or electronics technicians in US.

Advice to Senior ManagementCommit to serving your customers using the resources you have rather than looking for those resources outside of your own organization.

I love my job, it is a great company to work for.

Bid Bd and Contracts Administrative (Current Employee) Conway, AR

ProsThe benefits are excellent. It is very close to my home. Great people to work with. I really like what I am doing.

ConsI do not like the new dress code. I would love the flexibility to be able to work from home.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to your people, they have some great ideas.

    Excellent company to work for

Inside Sales Manager (Current Employee) Conway, AR

ProsPros are great benefits, good work environment with diversity and a sense of fair play. Whenever a "wrong fit" is hired above you know that they will turn over pretty quickly, company doesn't waste time with that. In midst of great turnaround and about to grow after some lay offs

ConsI think as far as cons, you do have some senior management who do not look into history to see what worked. We can't say "industry standard" when it comes to benefits that claim to be world class. We need to be better than the standard sometimes and I know some upper levels are pushing to make sure this happens

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement is very busy putting their "Stamp" on it. Slow down that first week and get to what works well, what is world class and than go for the "needs to be fixed"

    Great experience, slightly disorganized company.

Inside Sales Representative (Former Employee) Conway, AR

ProsThe people I worked with were fantastic. Managers cared about employee feedback and success. Great benefits and incentives from day one. Lots of industry knowledge and certifications available.

ConsUnusual salary/commission payment schedule. Lack of productivity automation. Partners and sales reps could never get on the same page, causing customers to be bombarded with calls.

Advice to Senior ManagementFor a technology company, they have a huge lack in internal software and productivity development. Instead of writing software to track our performance, we had to keep up with it ourselves and enter daily into an Excel file. Spent too much time trying to meet organizational criteria and not enough making sales calls. Need to get partners and sales reps under unified CRM tool to reduce organizational chaos.

A pleasant company to work for, but struggles somewhat due to corporate structure

    Sales (Current Employee) Conway, AR

Pros*The pay is decent for the positions offered
*Most days aren't too stressful, typically only a few days out of the month
*The insurance, 401k, and time off benefits are all pretty good

Cons*Day to day activities can change due to the whims of the newest executive or vice president
*Advancement opportunities are a little bit limited and salaries are lower than what competitors offer

Advice to Senior ManagementAim for consistent duties assigned to roles

Great Company, need a little direction

Inside Sales (Former Employee) Conway, AR

ProsThis company has a great culture. They encourage people to take the next step and their careers and managers are "goaled" on promotions of their team.

ConsThere are some great things about HP, but the lack of direction within this call center is drastic. The entire leadership team has turned over within the last 2-3 months.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet the direction together and you'll go so far!

    Good, but not great.

Sales Representative (Current Employee) Conway, AR

ProsComfortable atmosphere to work and great benefits. This is a great place to start a career in sales and has a top notch training program.

    ConsTwo Words: Senior Leadership

In sales, you can have a huge influence on a lot of things... none of which will be your paycheck. You have a better chance of predicting your winnings at a casino than what your commission check will look like.

Advice to Senior ManagementA clear direction is required in order to keep quality employees.

Great environment to work in, but compensation is not fair

Inside Storage Specialist (Current Employee) Conway, AR

ProsThe people and opportunities that come with working for a such prestigious company. Also, the benefits, retirement plans, and stock options are excellent

ConsThe compensation is pretty terrible. There is a chance to his 2.5x accelerators when you hit 100%, but no one ever doesn. Instead of the bell curve for compensation being at 100% it's right around 50%. And, even though they just got away from this a few months ago, if you didn't hit 60%, you had to pay back your commission at the end of the year. Which is just shady for a company making BILLIONS to do.

Advice to Senior ManagementTreat your employees well, an we will do well. Our moral is down, and people are jumping ship like the titanic is sinking. Plug the whole or get us a life preserver, because we can't sustaing the hit.
