    Pros

Great employees, Great working conditions, Outstanding facilities, state of the Art computers and networks, Work from Home options, Virtual meetings, outstanding training programs and options.

    Cons

Job promotions are far and few between.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep expanding the company as you are. Splitting the company into two separate companies with one focused on hardware and the other focused on services was a very wise decision.

I worked at Hewlett-Packard as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

HP was a great place to work with amazing team work

    Cons

HP relies too much on contract personnel. Contractors won't always give their all, when they know they are just a number that could and will be cut at any time

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hire more permanent employees

I have been working at Hewlett-Packard as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Work-life balance is great, everyone is super-friendly and helpful, and finding a mentor (or more than one) is easy. The benefits were also fantastic.

    Cons

The hiring-on process, especially interactions with the Human Resources department, took quite a while. My information stayed inactive in the system for days, which meant I was unable to do many things that were required by my job until everything was settled.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would advise management to make sure that requests for things that only managers can provide, like requests for digital authentication credentials, are taken care of as soon as possible.

I worked at Hewlett-Packard full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

I was a W@H agent for Hewlett Packard. The managers and co-workers were awesome! Company perks were fair and consistent. Training was over the top and concise. The interview process took about 2 weeks to complete.

    Cons

I didn't experience any real cons to this W@H position. I loved the freedom to work from home and had plenty of contact with management on any issue that would arise. The calls could be a challenge at times when customers were upset however this is part and parcel to a call center environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Bring back W@H postions!

    I worked at Hewlett-Packard full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Freedom to work from home, great customers and reasonable quotas. Culture was evolving over time.

    Cons

High Travel and a lot of red tape to work your deals through. Systems needed to be updated to make work time more effective and challenging to get accurate data.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Update systems to make jobs easier to do that allows for maximum time spent in front of clients.
