    I worked at Hexaware Technologies

    Pros

The interview is fairly quick, only one round of phone interview

    Cons

Very bad management of its contractors. They sent people on-site to monitor the actual projects but in fact achieves nothing but wastes the contractor's time with the unnecessary meet-ups.

I was with their SAP consulting team .They laid off almost 70 % of us during the 2009 recession period. One of the worst teams to work for.

I have been working at Hexaware Technologies full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The everyday experience of being in fire provides great experience to learn. The learning and experience that could be acquired in 5 years could be achieved in less than a year.

    Cons

The company lacks its vision in Employees Benefits and Individual Growth. There is a high job insecurity as after each project, you will end up looking for a job. The HR and Finance Departments are the worst I have seen in my career.. They have no regard to the Employees. Any one can sense it as soon as they join. Nil Work Life Balance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The world has moved far away from slavery and taking advantage of people's limitations.. may be the management should be aware of this.

I worked at Hexaware Technologies as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

    Nothing I can think of

    Cons

Will say anything to get you to join and once on site the projects can be terminated and the employee is left hanging., Informed when starting of the longevity and job security if I moved and relocated to another state - once relocated company left me hanging and informed the project had ended in less than 3 months. I was left with expenses and a family.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You should be ashamed of yourself.

I have been working at Hexaware Technologies

    Pros

    - OK salary
    - Policies can change easily. You resign and they will work for you
    - leaves
    - Small company hence you can talk to senior people easily (if you work in the same office)

    Cons

    - Work like a startup. No process in place. Everything on paper.
    - No formal communication. You write emails to anyone in the organisation (HR, manager etc). They will not reply or work on it, until you go to them or call them personally.
    - Less projects henceconsider yourself lucky if you can stay onsite for more than 1 year continously.
    - They will do 6 months project in 3 months and expect you to deliver the same. How to do it is your problem.
    - One of my friend joined them at onsite in US and the project was supposed to go on for 1 year. 2 months after joining the project was scrapped.
    - More managers and less developers in projects.
    - The hours you spend in office is equal to the work you do. If you have to leave early for some reason then you are inefficient and do not work.
    - Work from home or remote work authorization is a sin here. Either come to office or take leave.
Work from home means that you are only enjoying.
    - HR policies can change at any moment , according to what managers want.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - When in rome, do what romans do. In US, don't ask someone sitting in India to decide the working hours. See what happens in big US companies. People don't sit beyond 4:30 -5:00 pm. They work from home without any problems.
    - Don't advertise for recruitment if you are not sure of the project itself.First get the project and then recruit.
    - Food for thought - "the strength of company is hardly 8k, then why it has never come in the list of "best company to work for". If you cannot do it with 8k, then you cannot do it in future as well.

I worked at Hexaware Technologies full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Spend more than 3 years in this company. Failed to find any good point about this company.

    Cons

    The list is endless....
This complany is only for bootlickers and those who can sit endlessly in office.
Talent doesn't matters. What matters most is the numbers of hours you can spent in th office.
HR is a show piece model. They have no control nor have any powers in hands to bring about even a smallest of change.
Worst office politics. Onsite opportunities and promotions only for those who spend hours hovering around their bosses.
Mgmt has only one universal solution to all problems...Sit late night and work on weekends full day without any extra compensation!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please get some good training in mgmt from some good college.

I have been working at Hexaware Technologies full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    1. May get good package if you are lateral entry.
    2. If you taste a climate like school (just like your kids) and have a stereo type jobs, you can try.
    3. Payment of Variable pay is done quarterly.
    4. If you are from Andhra, you are most benefited.

    Cons

    1. Have this naive culture, where contributions are measured in terms of work hours rather than by each one's potential. They only require people who work for 9.15 hours a day and not somebody who can do the same work within 5 hours.
    2. Very immature and still have Old School of Thoughts.
    3. They always make sure that they make profit out of everything and anything. They deduct 0.5 day if you work less than 7 hours a day but they bill the Client for 1 full day. In the end they double the profit by taking the money for your half-a-day work and bill the client for 1 working day. They call it Smart, I call it a cheat. Come On... where is your ethics.
    4. Whatever be the case, Hexaware makes sure they get the maximum benefit out of it.
    5. Don't really care about Employees much. If you worked till 5AM for some day they don't bother much about your contribution or health but they wanted the Employee to come to work back by 8:15 AM. One cannot be excused for delay in work just because they helped the client to finish the target sooner.
    6. Very Cheap thinking and there will be a LOP even if you log for a minute less than 9.15 hours a day but there is no benefits if you care to work more than the working hours. They call it fair but I call it a Day-Light robbery.
    7. Worst HR Policies, have seen cases where one is asked to leave the company within an hour and also guys who were asked to leave after 90 days (make sure to suck every drop of your blood). Such a cunning and immorally bounded.
    8. They don't bother about your personal work-life balance, but rather bothered if they don't make their profit (or perhaps their so-Called working hours) because of your personal loss.
    9. Once you put down your papers, they will make sure to nullify your money and get a Big 0 as your full and final settlement. Encashment of leave : Only Basic pay, nothing else (Have no policy about this, After all how can you have a policy for robbery). If LOP : All of your component get reduced subsequently from your Basic, HRA, Conveyance, Fixed Pay, Variable pay and even PF for 1 day.
    10. They treat you like Slave and the Client like Gods. I have even heard the cases where they even ask the client to exploit their own employees in whatever way they want but just make sure their invoices are cleared punctually.
    11. Don't really have the spine to stand and say that if anything is wrong with the client (be it technically or professionally or morally), never dare to say that they are wrong and do not backup their own employees instead make their own employees to ask for excuses for the mistakes clients make and even fail to think that we were not wrong.
    12. The Finance people are the worst guys I have ever seen in my 12 Years of Experience. They made be feel like as if you are begging for their money and treat you literally with no respect and see you like a fraud, if you go for claims.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to work as you are now, so that your end shall come itself very soon into the grave dig by yourself. Unethical Company and will never be part of this company NEVER & EVER even if I was offered CEO.
