I worked at Hospital Corporation of America full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Many many Locations nation wide

    Cons

Its a big corporation with little concern for line employees who get conflict with providers

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have more of a back-bone. just as there are "many people in line waiting for a staff position," there are likewise many providers waiting in line for a clinical position. There needs to be a better reviews process outside the department and mediated more objectively.

    Pros

I work with friendly people with in my immediate group.

    Cons

Everything and anything with in this group takes forever. It took me over three months to get hired on initially. I would like to say i would work here forever but in reality, I ma ready to go and be recognized for my work as opposed to just buried more.

I have been working at Hospital Corporation of America full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I have worked with some great teams and the plethora of experiences you can gain are amazing

    Cons

they work you like a dog and pay as little as possible

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want someone who can do 3 jobs, pay them like they're doing 3 jobs. The benefits are embarassing, match higher on the 401k, bring an employee stock purchase program or expand who can get options, and lower the costs of healthcare insurance. if you cant lower the cost, let employees change it midyear.

I worked at Hospital Corporation of America full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Meaningful and interesting work. There seem to be a lot of opportunities to develop skills and advance within the company. There are many talented employees who can serve as resources for work challenges and career development. The company promotes a culture of integrity and seems to be committed to it.

    Cons

It seems that one must be willing to move in order to advance within the company. There doesn't appear to be a strong desire to promote from within the hospitals.
