Pros – Huron is well positioned in the market as it has been selective with the types of service offerings and industries served that have sustainable needs. Investment is being made in all core businesses to meet the high demand for performance improvement while building solutions to meet the dynamic needs of the market. The firm has a focus on it's people initiatives (coaching, development and performance) and there are many initiatives to further build a rich culture of collaboration through values, diversity and inclusion, leadership development, community service, and corporate social responsibility. It's an excellent environment to build your career and the firm is improving the mobility of it's staff across solution areas. There is also a unique opportunity to be part of an entrepreneurial environment within the brand and resources of Huron - this is especially true with our emerging businesses.
Cons – The firm continues to build it's infrastructure, keeping in mind Huron is a relatively new company and is experience high growth. Growing the right infrastructure and programs to support that growth is a work in process but it's a focal point of management. Entry level compensation is not as competitive as some of the larger firms, but there is signficant upside to building your career in a firm the size of Huron in terms of development, recognition and leadership path for high performers. Most consultants travel Mon-Thur every week, so it's a lifestyle you must be amenable to or this is not the right place.
Advice to Senior Management – Marketing and brand development is something that is heavily weighted in the work we do and reputation we build with our clients, employees and talent market. Having a unified brand strategy that addresses clients, investors, talent, community, and employees is an opportunity for the firm to tell our story and gain more visibility.

Current Employee – been working at Huron Consulting full-time for less than a year
Pros – The company seems to have combined the top tier / large consulting firms' (Anderson, Accenture, Deloitte, etc.) polish while managing a smaller size and feel (approx 2500 employees)
Cons – TBD on cons - not sure what they are / would be (besides the usual consulting cons of travel wear, "business need" of assignments, and a typical, somewhat arrogant / "we are smarter than everyone" mentality of the staff). Either way, these are manageable and somewhat typical for the industry so nothing negative to say.
Advice to Senior Management – none for now

Current Employee – been working at Huron Consulting full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Best of the brightest and dedicated leaders that really care about the person and the business.
Cons – none noted so far, would like to see the 'small company' mentality still continued. Monthly office lunches or birthday celebrations with a cake, etc. Small things.
Advice to Senior Management – continue to pay top performers whether internal or client facing - top bonuses and compensations.
