    Pros

I love the people and the innovative culture. I appreciate the guidance from my managers. I feel fulfilled in my work.

    Cons

I do not like only being an intern. It is a good program but it is hard to feel so new in such a big organization.

    Advice to Management

I think a longer internship than 2 months might be helpful with greater emphasis on in person teamwork.

The people at IBM are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are very hardworking and really hep you to achieve the results and assign a proper task to an intern. So there is a lot to learn. No politics, very peaceful environment.

    Cons

No cool environment like start-ups or other giants in bay area.

    Pros

Your manager is always willing to help you. Everyone traets you with respect and make you feel part of the IBM community.
You can meet many people from different areas and learn about new things easily.
    Very flexible working hours.

    Cons

The company is very big and sometimes it could be difficult to understand how your job is giving a benefit to the company. But at the same time it could be a good opportunty since you get into contact with many people.

    Advice to Management

The management is made by some very prepared and expert people and they are very open to listen from others.

    Pros

The attorneys and partners are all very welcoming and informative when there are unknown territories in the line of work. The work environment is also very conducive to growth in the firm and in the market.

    Cons

During the summer, business ramps up due to increased home buyers in the market. This leads to longer, but still very manageable work weeks.

    Pros

    - Present to the CEO
    - Submit Patents
    - High Pay
    - Housing was covered 100%
    - Full-time benefits (e.g. Airfare discounts and car rental discounts)
    - Austin, TX is nice

    Cons

    - Texas is hot I guess
    - People bash on building 45, and they're right, it is a bit ugly
    - The play feels empty
    - Workers are honest about IBM almost even to a fault (I kind of like this though)

    Advice to Management

    - Work on getting more people to come on campus to work--too many people working from home, makes the place feel empty. Although ~7,000 people work at IBM Austin, it only ever feels like 2,000 of them are on campus.
