    Pros

Great company with an easy to understand corporate structure. Best way to describe the company is "a big company with a small company feel".

    Cons

I honestly do not have a bad thing to say. Just wish there were more projects to go to. I would have stayed with the company instead of moving on.

I have been working at ICF International as a contractor (more than 5 years)

    Pros

This company is one of the best companies I've had the pleasure of working for. I worked for them for 5 years. Management was great - no micro managing but was always available when you needed assistance. Weekly team conference calls since we were spread out across the country where knowledge sharing was key.

    Cons

The only con I can think of is that the work is so specific, there isn't much room for growth.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep up the great work!

I worked at ICF International as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay, benefits, people. There are many opportunities for continuing education, mobility in the company. Since it is such a large company there is a lot of stability. Many sectors of consulting work results in diversity which makes for a great workplace. I would highly recommend this company to a friend or colleague.

    Cons

I had to commute to downtown Sacramento- not really a con all things considered....I suppose that if I really had to choose the decorating was sparse in the office. Since this is the downside I would say that this is a great company. I only wrote this because I had to fill the space. No cons, seriously.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work. I was very happy with working there.

I worked at ICF International full-time

    Pros

40 hour work week, excellent compensation package, upward mobility, interesting work, open and transparent upper management

    Cons

The culture depends on the manager, and I left when I got a new one who was not qualified. He is still there, successfully managing up (darned Peter Principle). For higher level positions, the bonus structure is top down, not bottom up (every year my team got screwed).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to make more employees shareholders... overhaul the AIP system... it is currently an anti-incentive program.
