fun culture

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at Idea Integration full-time for less than a year

ProsThere was a lot of creative and technical talent in the office while in my short stay there. A solid client list and more importantly, a casual and fun culture.

There seemed to be diverse set of projects ongoing that spanned the digital spectrum especially around digital marketing. I felt like there was a lot of opportunity to take on different roles and a general openness to new tools and technology.

ConsTimelines and deadlines were sometimes unrealistic. Career development was murky. Work life balance should be more than just "coach-speak".

Metrics for management should be re-evaluated to align with a strategy of quality vs quantity.

Advice to Senior ManagementLeverage the culture and focus more on quality over the number of billable hours. Look for better projects with higher margins and longer engagements with current client list.

A Place For Growth

Account Manager (Current Employee)
Houston, TX

I have been working at Idea Integration

ProsGreat place to grow both personally and professionally. Both the benefits and the culture support this.

ConsPublic company (parent org) so we have to play by those rules which feels like it can be limiting although overall it allows us stability.

Advice to Senior ManagementProvide more structured mentorship and succession planning, or at least be more transparent about it.

Hire more consultant Reduce so called managements staff and managers

Senior Consultant (Former Employee)
Houston, TX

I worked at Idea Integration

ProsLatest technology and relationship with Microsoft and overall client base

Conssome client based work are primitive and not matching with the skill of the consultant, just for mere sake of billing time the consultants are placed in wrong work and wrong companies

Advice to Senior Managementreduce the so called management staff and hire more technical consultant who make money, there are more non productive staff calling them as PM who does not bring productivity to the clients or companies but only cost to the company

Idea Integration is Top-Tier for Microsoft Tech Consultants

Senior Consultant (Current Employee)
Jacksonville, FL

I have been working at Idea Integration

ProsAwesome projects. Projects are fast paced and packed with the latest technologies. Great compensation! Microsoft related projects are always large or medium in scale. Bonuses on billable hours is fair and lucrative.

ConsToo much travel, But hey, it's technology consulting.

Advice to Senior ManagementWith all this technology we implement for our customers when can we reinvest in our own? Also, remember, Your consultants are your product you sell to your customers. Don't forget to helpout the consultants on the road!

Great.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Idea Integration

ProsGreat people, lively atmosphere, room for individuals.

ConsRecent Adecco acquisition ruined Idea. Adecco is focused on general staff augmentation. Idea was based on professional staff augmentation and turnkey projects.

Advice to Senior ManagementAllow Idea t odo what it does best: turnkey software projects using the latest and greatest technologies.
