    Beware!

    Loan Officer (Current Employee)
    South Gate, CA

ProsGreat health insurance, great marketing department

ConsThe rates are way out of the market, the overlays kill deals. There are lots of politics going on in upper management.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou have built a great company and your product is too hard to sell. I recommend that you back off on buying more Bugatti's (hint: the most expensive car in the world) and stop being so greedy with your own paychecks, and make your rates competitive and your product worth sticking around for... have heard you have a hard time keeping good talent.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Disorganized branch with bad leadership and bad operations

    Senior Business Analyst (Current Employee)

ProsHealth benefits are good but it is a commission only environment.

ConsManagement is clueless when it comes to product knowledge and moral. Leads are horrible. I can't see them moving forward with what little they bring to the table.

Advice to Senior ManagementHire someone with actual management experience with people skills and mortgage product knowledge.

    Game of Politics

    Finance (Current Employee)
    Irvine, CA

ProsTo get paid, receive benefits, something to do, discover how not to run a company, learn how to shmooz, and learn not to trust anyone

ConsPolitics, need to get within the inner circle, beware who you talk to, the dog house is a black hole, and talent at the top is lacking.

Advice to Senior ManagementThis business is run like a mom and pop shop but tries to behave like a corporation. People hired have no experience in their field and were hired based on relationships, being neighbors, friendships, and based on someone they know.

Great learning / working experience but salary and compensation level do not match.

    Financial Analyst (Current Employee)
    Irvine, CA

ProsChallenging work. Good environment. Opportunity to cross train and learn on new task. Lots of interaction with management and counter business partners.

ConsSalary and compensation are not at all competitive. No raise in the past 5 years since 2007.
Glad to still retain the job, but no indication for professional growth.
