You are more likely to get transferred to remote places.

Cons – Very weak HR . Lobbism and groupism plays a major role deciding transfers and promotions
Advice to Senior Management – HR should be made Stronger to make the foundations of this great organisation very strong . A strong survey and research highly recommended to create a transparent culture in deciding transfers and promotions.

Cons – Co-workers specially staff prefer not to work,,,and make ur work difficult.
Advice to Senior Management – Recruits more Grads from medium level universities so that they don't run to more greener pasture,,,n recruit only well qualified staff.

Cons – The Job profiles in IOCL is Monotonous.

Pros – Providing ample opportunities for learning, takes care off employees well, has good perquisites especially medical facilities, in short, takes care employee from cradle to grave yard, has certain value system
Cons – Slow in decision making, many companies operating within the company, low risk taking capacity of management , low work life balance.
Advice to Senior Management – Enhance your risk taking capacity, have close liaison with various policy makers for taking care of company's interest, constantly look for overseas opportunities since after becoming Maharatna, financial powers are available

Pros – One of the best companies in Petroleum sector, the largest PSU.
Cons – Some procedures takes longer than needed to complete, something common with PSUs.
Advice to Senior Management – Better Job Rotation.
