Infosys one of worse Indian companies to work with.

Systems Engineer (Former Employee)

I worked at Infosys full-time

Pros- Facilities but its just mirage. You can get those things outside at reasonable price.

Cons- A lot, hard to say all, will try to summarize
- Most managers don't have technical expertise related to projects, they talk in terms of deadlines without
understanding technical problem faced by the project.
- Salary is like peanuts.
- They have some performance system called CRR, which is based on who licks the boot of Manager more.
- No or very rare development projects. The only spell they throw at employees so that they may stay is, they
will give them onsite. Onsite is so overrated.
- They have a dress code. Don't understand how a dress code make people more productive.

Advice to Senior Management- Nothing as such because they wont change.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

BEWARE !! This company ONLY cares about their Profit NOT employee.

Consultant (Current Employee)
Portland, OR

I have been working at Infosys full-time for more than 3 years

ProsYou can be assigned to a prestigious client.

ConsAlthough you can have a prestigious client they may assign you a project that is very boring in nature and no challenge at all. In other words nothing to work on. if you like challenges then you will feel your brain is getting rotten. When you request to management to move you to a more challenging assignment they will hesitate because your position may no longer be filled by the client. So it doesnt matter even you are bored to death coz they DON'T care. They just want their client to pay them for work that no work at all. No growth on this company. Dont apply here!!

Advice to Senior ManagementOPEN your ears to employee. Dont close your door! One day you will lose a lot of valuable people and all that will be left the breadcrumbs employees,,

Worse company to have worked for

IT Consultant (Former Employee)
Basking Ridge, NJ

I worked at Infosys full-time for more than a year

ProsNothing but issues with management bring h1 visas staff to support us base clients

ConsThey don't allow expansion or promotions unless you are not from India.

Advice to Senior ManagementI suggest to engaged with US base companies only as they will work with US employee and you won't have to be fighting off H1 visas coming to US to take jobs from US citizens.

Why does this company post my job external for significantly more money while I do all of the work?

Customer Support Process Lead/Specialist (Current Employee)
Phoenix, AZ

I have been working at Infosys

ProsThe Pro would be if the company acknowledges that the people doing the work day in and day out are hard working and deserve proper compensation and recognition. It would be nice to upgrade our salary to match what you have decided to bring in the others at. We notice you know....

Consworkload is overwhelming, there is no adequate training, no preparation went into transition, there was no access to perform work functions for months further delayed ability to perform work which piled up, no adequate tools or training or support.

Advice to Senior ManagementTake a look at the current talent covering multiple deskloads and pay them what they are worth instead of lowballing and bringing help in at significantly higher salaries. Do you think that we don't realize that this is a kick in the teeth and we will leave?
