Good company, growing pains within services delivery.

Project Manager (Current Employee) None (Italy)

ProsLarge corporation, many avenues for success as a whole.

ConsLarge corporation, heavy on politics, career advancement possibibilites only for those in the "clicks".

Advice to Senior ManagementProvide more genuine and detailed feedback of corporate direction to those in the trenches. Stop paralyzation through process. Stronger attention to services delivery teams company wide.

Great people to work with. Too bad the company doesn't pay us well.

    Sales Specialist (Current Employee)

ProsGood team. Everyone is very straight forward with one another. Leadership in Montreal office on US side is first rate.

ConsSupport roles have no advancement options. Minimal training. Compensation is well below market average.

Advice to Senior ManagementSpend some time in the Montreal office and observe how we operate. Assign some leadership in the support roles so that the support roles can be integrated more strategically with the sales teams.

    It's a joke, don't waste your time

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsPeople and pay are the only pros I can think of.

ConsOne of the most fragmented businesses I've ever been exposed to. Most service delivery managers are clueless (literally). Company promotes incompetence over and over again. Upper management not in touch with those who make a difference. The previous post about a "me too" services organization is so true.

    not great

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsWorked with a lot of good people. The Company had a pretty good coworker develepment program and people. had fun

ConsThought the executive team did a poor job leading the company during a tough economic time. They were 2-3 steps behind competition

Advice to Senior Managementmy advice to management would be to focus on retaining key employees. There was very little effort in retaining key employees.

Inside sales mentality, focus is high volume, transactional selling

    Account Executive (Current Employee)

ProsHave broad portfolio of I.T. products to sell, can seek out some talented engineers and support staff. Flexibility in pricing, simple proposal processes.

ConsYou must be at the headquarters location in Tempe, AZ to be connected and in the know. Company has a call center sales mentality, little interest in problem solving or strategic relationship building. A good place for new sales reps to learn telephone sales basics. High level of internal deal making for territories and accounts, preferred treatment for those well liked.

Advice to Senior ManagementKen is doing a great job of re organizing the company into a single, cohesive unit. Lots of work to be done. Needs to continue to bring in new mid level management, and teach strategic, solution skills.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
