I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Since I started working at Intel, my life has changed dramatically. I no longer stress out on Sunday evenings about the thrashing I may or may not receive at work the subsequent week! I look forward to work every day, and even take glances at design issues at home sometimes, not because I have to, mind you, because it crosses my mind as part of my normal day. AKA: something I just enjoy doing. My managers and coworkers are all people that I want to help succeed, and so my work has a feeling of importance to it that helps me excel.

    Cons

As with any large company, the chain of command and approval for new features and bug fixes is fairly complex. Sometimes it will take a month or more to initiate change, especially with design. However, this can be an advantage, because it gives you plenty of time to change your mind about designs and/or improve your work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Maybe some more in-house perks would be nice. The campuses are rather drab, not much recreational to do outside of running on an elliptical machine or playing foosball. Something like libraries, full gyms, a pool, arcades, batting cages would be nice! We spend a ton of time on campus and everyone knows, (or is starting to realize) that high productivity is not always determined by how long you can sit at your desk, but rather by inspiration coming from seemingly disconnected sources.

I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

The benefits package is fantastic, including generous paid vacations, paid sabbaticals, paid parental bonding leave, tuition assistance, and plenty of healthcare options. The work locations are great places to live. Casual office environment and the ability to work from home make it easy to come to work. On-site conveniences include great fitness facilities, locally-sourced cafes, salon/spa, free healthy snacks and drinks. It feels like the company cares about you, and like your peers and superiors are always encouraging you to grow and succeed.

    Cons

The work is abundant and sometimes the schedule demands 50+ hour weeks.

    I worked at Intel Corporation

    Pros

Good work. Good helpful team. As an intern i used to ask questions and was guided whenever necessary. The team used to meet for cafe breaks. And were very helpful

    Cons

As an organization Intel doesn't have any cons with respect to company values and ethics. But yes the work pace may seem to be a bit slow. But it gives its employees a comfort zone to work in and excel.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Intel as a company has come very far. And its recent endeavors to dive into new areas and fields like IOTs and wearables is equally commendable.

I worked at Intel Corporation as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Excellent work culture. Lot many opportunities are available and you have the liberty to work in the field of your interest. Excellent senior resources those are willing to guide you.

    Cons

Even though the senior resources are willing to help the new recruits/students they are not able to do so due busy schedule.
Full time opportunities are less if you are interning for less than 6 months.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Should arrange for the interns (working in similar fields) to sit and work together so that they can share the knowledge and experience.

    I worked at Intel Corporation

    Pros

Environment, benefits were great. Work life balance was good as well. Many opportunities to learn and advance within the corporation .

    Cons

Some managers were not in touch with other units direction. Business units could use some work communicating better. Sometimes on-call work could be overwhelming- I would suggest spreading on-call out to more people.
