    Pros

    some people are OK to work with.

    Cons

    I would not recommend this place to anyone working in IT. Technology is done the old way and everything gets outsourced! It's not a healthy environment and upper management thinks treating everyone as a child is leadership. Everyone loves to throw you under the bus and not work as a team or blame a vendor. Horrible decision making, if they actually make one. There are a lot of people who have been here a LONG time... that's because they have no where else to go!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Let your employees do the work they were hired to do and stop micromanaging. Make decisions and stop passing it around to stall for more time. Learn about leadership skills and stop using outdated management techniques! Don't lie to your future candidates about what to expect if they take the job at Interface. You'll just end up with unhappy employees!

    Pros

    Some people are nice. I can't think of anything that's really positive about this company. It's just a horrible place to work.

    Cons

    My #1 problem with this company is the management is beyond horrible... extramarital affairs with their secretary (and everyone knows what's going on), ex-convict, or they just don't know what they're talking about. And they spend millions of $$$$$ on technology they can't implement or understand themselves and then skip out on giving bonuses when it comes time for that. #2, this company has no talent. If you're still there and haven't left, what does that say about you?

    Enjoy it while it lasts.

    We get paid a day or so early

    Cons

    Too much work. Too much management. New management has no clue. Interface spends too much money on things they don't need. So much waste. All my friends are gone. They got laid off or quit.

    Fire everyone and anyone having anything to do with IT from top to bottom.

    HORRIBLE . run the other way !

    Pros

    9 dollars an hour was pretty good compared to the normal $8.25.

    too much pressure

    Pros

    Great Co-Workers. My salary is above average for my geographic location, job duties, and skills. I work in a suburban area with little in the way of traffic congestion and crime.

    Cons

    There is a focus on sustainability that interferes with the business of making and selling a quality product. There is poor coordination among divisions; efforts to make the leap to a truly global operation have routinely failed. A lack of focus leads to wasted resources and poor performance. The Company is having difficulty retaining quality people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Interface needs new leadership at the C-level. The present senior management team has a track record of mediocre performance.

    Pros

    There are at least some good IT people left to network with.

    IT ran by non-IT person. Knee jerk reactions. Incompetent management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Take IT seriously instead of as a necessary evil. Treat those that have gone above and beyond better. Quit allowing higher ups to use scape goats for their poor decisions.
