    I have been working at Interface as an intern

    Pros

    Good opportunities for upward mobility, employer very reasonable about scheduling, encouraged to learn about every step of the carpet making process.

    Cons

    As an intern my work hours were limited to part time, factory mostly open to the air so if it is 90 outside it is 90+ inside.

    benefits, pay,non rotating shifts are good. hourly employees 70% team players management 40% team players

    Cons

    advancement is hard it a buddy buddy system this means jobs are given to friends or a friend relative

    Advice to Management

    when issues arrive use company handbook or company rules and not your own the way you hurt someones family by using your own rules the same will come back to you

    Great vision from the late founder Ray Anderson Sustainability is not just a buzzword, it is tangible and practiced throughout the organisation Invest in new technology. Always looking to innovate

    Small group of small-minded mill workers hold company back Can be over-political especially at mid-management level Make a meal of websites Need to choose a platform for the long-term and stick with it.

    Add strong decision makers and visionaries Up the ante on Mission Zero Make better platform decisions Build simpler websites
