A good skill building place to work.

    Programmer (Former Employee)
    Chantilly, VA

ProsYou will be challenged to code for 100% accuracy, security and maximum efficiency/throughput. You will learn if you make an effort and not otherwise. You will learn a lot about PCI compliance and the credit industry.

ConsNeeds product diversification. Too many variants of the same old thing with little branding changes.

Too many meetings, most are lengthy and could be held with fewer participants.

Advice to Senior ManagementThink outside the box or have someone help brainstorm, been doing the same thing for 20 years, losing effectiveness fast.

    Good experience

    Marketing (Former Employee)
    Chantilly, VA

ProsPretty intense culture with not much on-the-job training. Need to learn on your feet and be able to juggle multiple priorities. Good exposure to different corporate clients.

ConsTakes a long time to get projects done. Doesn't seem to be a good corporate IT platform by which to service corporate clients. This leads to confusion and prioritization challenges.

Advice to Senior ManagementCreate stronger culture with a more formal recognition program.

Great place to learn on your feet

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsIntersections has a fast-paced, challenging environment full of great people. There is a lot of tenure there, and it is a great place to get quickly involved in projects.

ConsThere were a lot of meetings at this company, and they do not provide a lot of training. If you don't learn quickly, this isn't a company for you.

Advice to Senior ManagementCommunicate better with lower-level staff to ensure they understand the direction of the company

    Good expeerience, reasonably fair company

    Customer Service/Correspondence (Former Employee)
    Chantilly, VA

ProsManagers who will work with people who are having trouble, many chances given to improve preformance. Patient with ever-changing situations.

ConsToo many things are done which make little sense and no one wants to change them, they don't want to hear from the "little guy". Weather policy needs a little review.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen more to your employees.

    Fast Paced, Hectic, exciting

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsNew technology for identity theft prevention.

ConsConstant change in directions makes it hard to focus on one project and take it to completion.

Advice to Senior ManagementScrap outdated back end technology and spend money to re-design from scratch.
