Increase the base salary to 14 dollars an hour and this would be an ideal job.

    Pros

Commissions can be great if you have a decent hourly wage

    Cons

Hourly pay should increase based on sales revenue for the company. There should also be a better way to move up in the company.

I have been working at Interval International full-time

    Pros

Two work from home days for employees in the IT department. Flexibility with requesting time off (this depends on the manager). Location. Covered parking (assigned for some but for a fee). Relaxed work environment in some departments (depends on the manager). Decent technology to communicate and conduct meetings remotely. A good number of vacation days, including one day for your birthday.

    Cons

Poor communication causes people to reinvent the wheel unnecessarily. Insufficient sharing of knowledge at times. Unprofessional behavior is tolerated in some departments to the point that it is disruptive to others. The majority of employees are very professional and knowledgeable but there are some who don't have a strong work ethic (this happens everywhere though).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Offer tuition reimbursement and make the yearly pay increases more significant. Continue to put bright, dedicated individuals in leadership positions (there have been some very good promotions recently that are improving our processes and performance).

I have been working at Interval International

    Pros

    - Excellent Vacation Paid Time Off Benefits
    - Free Resort Stays Benefits
    - 401k % Match
    - Remote Work Exceptions
    - Great Colleagues
    - Embrace New Technology

    Cons

    - Make sure to negotiate before you work there, raises are very slow.
    - You must pay for parking
    - Management is not working fast enough to give increases to underpaid resources
    - Consultants are given too much power and opportunities (more than perm employees)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Need to show better appreciation of employees (you seem to show appreciation only when the employees are on the way out the door. If you appreciate the resource, why not answer expressed concerns before they leave instead of waiting till they leave).

    - Training needed more often

    - Should offer stock options to all employees. Why not encourage employees to buy shares and have them feel vested?

    - Allow technology professionals to be Remote more often. (save on overhead)

    Pros

cross training; synergy; fun work environment

    Cons

No longer has matching 401k :-(

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring back the matching 401k and the annual raises. The job market will only stay soft for so long.

I have been working at Interval International

    Pros

Great Vacation and pretty good travel benefits

    Cons

NO room for advancement and management is SEVERELY inept.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need a definite restructure of management. They have been here for too long and act like high school kids. There are no policies and procedures just depends on the mood of the management that day on how they are going to deal with your issue. They're response is always no instead of finding a solution.

I have been working at Interval International full-time

    Pros

It's a quiet office and not too hectic. It's quite laid back so not too stressful.

    Cons

Sometimes it's too quiet and a lot of the working benefits aren't that competitive with other companies in London.
There's quite a low morale within certain departments and unnecessary politics. Lack of career development opportunities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    More positivity is needed

I have been working at Interval International full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Historically has been relatively stable. Some travel perks but basically only to Orlando if you get lucky.

    Cons

Very cheap organization. Little to no employee benefits or employee morale events (eg no christmas parties). Annual raises are negligible at best and not competitive with market, if there even is an annual raise; this year management just IGNORED annual raises and communicated no reason as to why, while spending millions buying businesses... that's an incredibly unprofessional way to treat over-worked and under-paid employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Show more respect for your employees and invest in them. Communicate much better.

I have been working at Interval International full-time

    Pros

Great industry to work in. Depending on management team, can have great professional development opportunities.

    Cons

No sharing or sense of community. Culture of leading through fear. Little opportunity for advancement. Pay is not equal to job responsiblity.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Encourage sharing and innovation by listening to employees. Design pay structure to actually be achievable. Do not let leaders of the company abuse their employees.
