Current Employee - All Quickbooks Sale Departments, and Demandforce in Englewood, CO

I have been working at Intuit full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Amazing benefits, seriously I dont think anyone can beat them. pay is pretty good, and its pretty hard to get fired (some people haven't hit goal in 5-6 months)
-If your a top performer, CEO club is amazing!
-very supportive, kind, and integrity focused company
    -uncapped positions are great
    -great sales experiance

    Cons

-They are a corpiration, so they will shut down departments left and right out of the blue ( Its happened at least once a year in my 2 1/2 years here)
    - The quickbooks team is a easy, easy sale, but micro managed pretty good
-Demandforce is a monster. it will be the hardest Job you have ever done. almost impossible at times
-A lot of the people there whine, a lot.
-very hard to advance your carrier outside of sales. only 3 people in 3 years were promoted at the Denver office

I worked at Intuit full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Fair pay, work life balance, nice people, good work environment..

    Cons

Change for the sake of change. Change is good, you do not stagnate, but change just for the sake of change is not bright, especially when it involves group layoffs of longtime employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You are getting cheap. New employees are not paid as much as previous new hires and longtime employees who are paid well are being laid off. You are cutting back on perks, travel and team outings.

Current Employee - Finance Leader in Mountain View, CA

I have been working at Intuit full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Intuit has great values and the people you work with are always willing to help. I've always had the flexibility of working from home when I need to. They have great benefits that you can utilize from charging you electric/hybrid car for free, getting a zipcar on campus for free, and reduced pricing for emergency back up day care services.

    Cons

Very flat finance organization so it's hard to move up, the best you can you do is move around different BUs to get exposure to different leadership teams.

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
