I worked at Invesco Aim full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good incentives, friendly, casual culture. This company has a very nice, physical environment. I enjoyed the years I spent working there.

    Cons

A bit rigid! It was a little difficult for me to climb the ladder there, so I left to explore other options.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You have great leadership, but some get offended if asked a question they can't answer. I think your leadership should be trained to welcome all kinds of inquiries; they should not be threatened by them.

    I worked at Invesco Aim

    Pros

The best reason to work for Invesco Aim is the benefits, location, free parking and free cokes. Being that Invesco AIM is a part of the financial investment business it has taken a beating from how the financial industry has fallen.

    Cons

Some of the downsides of working at Invesco Aim is lack of room for career advancement, downsizing and being a subsidiary of a larger company. The company is ran like a true "corporate company". The initial founders ran the company like a family owned business and you could see the difference in the environment at the company. Now it's strictly all about the bottom line. The employees do not come first as they did in the past.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Involve the people who actually do the work everyday.
