ProsVery flexible scheduling. Very team oriented. Room for lateral growth. Nice office facilities. Great location

ConsGlass ceiling. Especially once you reach mid-level management. Not much growth past mid-level management.

Current Employee – been working at Invesco

ProsGreat vacation package - 15 days for new employees, 7 sick days and 2 personal days
Good 401(k) contribution
Lots of professional development opportunities
Large company that values promotion from within.

ConsSlightly lower than average salaries and because of weak economy in 2009 raises were limited.
You could make more money working for a larger investment company, but low cost of living in Houston makes up for it.

Current Employee – been working at Invesco

ProsThe people, both management and employees. Many departments within Invesco truly care about their employees and customer service is a top priority.

ConsInvesco is a very large company, so it cab be easy for things to get overlooked if you don't follow up constantly. It can sometimes be hard to get some of the less important tasks accomplished because of the amount of projects ongoing at once.
