Current Employee – been working at Iowa State University part-time for more than a year
Pros – Large organization. Large enough to have interesting work. Very good benefits. Very multi-cultural. The students of the Physics Department are usually well motivated. This makes the work enjoyable. Beautiful campus.
Cons – State agency. The pay might be a little less than a person might want. Might feel "lost" at times because of the size. Parking is not good. You can be parked a hefty walk from your workplace, and they charge you a lot of $ to park in that remote lot.
