    Pros

Ipsos has a great company culture. They strive for employee collaboration both in work and social aspects. They offer great benefits and having fun is an important part of their company culture. Working from home on an ad hoc basis is considered acceptable.

    Cons

Things are frequently changing. Whether this is good or bad depends on how receptive you are to change. The changes they are making are always to be more innovative, modern and current though the steps to get there may sometimes be difficult.

    Advice to Management

What was considered "confidential" information was sometimes very public. Limit sharing sensitive information only with those absolutely necessary until the appropriate time has come to share with a larger group or company as a whole.

    Pros

I've seen lots of positive changes since I joined two years ago...industry is difficult which has an impact on morale and retention but Ipsos is improving the culture, doing more for employees and the Friday beer carts are the envy of all my friends!

    Cons

Clients and their demands can be intense but at least I am learning and growing.

    Advice to Management

Please invest more in your talent. We need to do more to keep the people who have been here 3-5 years.

    Pros

Somewhat flexible in telecommuting. Salary is decent.

    Cons

Poor management. Too focused on sales instead of quality of work. Senior management is expected to sell and everyone below them is stuck with workloads that are hard to manage.

    Advice to Management

focus more on quality work instead of quantity.

    Pros

Focused on serving the needs of our clients, it is about client's business issues we are solving and not forcing a solution but rather address their problem

    Cons

Increase collaboration across specializations, while specializations is a strength it is best leveraged with global accounts when they work closely together

    Pros

They support advertisers for many of the Fortune 500 companies, and they are the best at determining the best market research campaigns for each company.

    Cons

There was not enough opportunity for career growth for employees in lower level positions despite the training that was offered, and it was difficult for employees to change career paths despite their potential.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management is to look more closely at employees who try to change career paths, for example from accounting to market research, because employees should not be pidgeon-holed into their current job. After learning the general business, an employee can be trained to do a different job and still be as asset to the company.

    Pros

Fantastic people, good office, and very interesting work for an intern to get to do. It was a well-paid internship position, too, which was very exciting and impressive, as many companies don't value interns enough to pay them at all.

    Cons

Even as an intern, I could tell that it's a very bureaucratic company. Also, the lack of a formal intern program meant that I was the only intern in the office, which was both a blessing and a curse at times.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing.
