Bright, caring staff poised to successfully land high growth opportunities now that it's a REIT

Solutions Architect (Current Employee) Los Angeles, CA

ProsBright and surprisingly creative and flexible staff makes work engaging and fun. Long-timers know where the bodies are buried and are able to steer newbies clear of potential problems. Much of the training is self-help videos and online exercises, generally very good. Excellent market data, leads and research ensure the best and brightest have the best info to make good decisions and to be most productive. Solid benefits and pay. Vision and Mission are easy to get behind and support.

ConsA challenging environment to gain proficiency; some processes seem over engineered and people in the know go around these hurdles, causing fires elsewhere. Good communication and transparency, though, but cycles are burned unnecessarily. CYA emails and figuring out what's going on by the 48th forward is tedious, but it's in the culture.

Advice to Senior ManagementWe need a process to autopsy things that go wrong and another to challenge industry data and stats based on our own experiences. Teams in the field have a lot of industry and competitive insight that could better be shared - perhaps on Salesforce "Chatter" Also, we should have "No Meeting Fridays" to catch up, distill and share what we've learned.

It was wonderful experience they did want me to leave

Warehouse Dockworker (Former Employee) Dallas, TX

ProsBenefits, Hours, pay, and compensation / rewards to get for being such a hardworking enthusiastic employee.

ConsOperating some of the equipment the culture and dealing with the strenuous labor that comes with the job

Advice to Senior ManagementThe management is pretty descent and sophisticated in how they go about dealings with certain situations that might cause the company to fail. But overall there pretty reasonable on employees that depends on your work ethics, dependability, accuracy, and sense of urgency.

Digital Imaging (Current Employee) Boyers, PA

ProsThe managers and coworkers are wonderful to work with and it is a team atmosphere.
    Low stress.
Managers understand if you need to schedule a day off, they are family oriented and understand if you have kids. They work with you if you want to make up the lost time.

ConsThe only con would be you usually are hired as a temp.

Tax Accountant (Former Employee) Royersford, PA

ProsCreating budgets, working with outside consultants, great people to work with

ConsThe only thing I might have an issue with is top management has a hard time being transparent in regards to upcoming lay-offs...

Advice to Senior ManagementOpen up and be honest with employees, especially in regards to lay-offs. You demand honesty and integrity so in order to get this out of your employees you need to take the lead...

Loved my job until position eliminated

    Operations Supervisor (Current Employee)

ProsLocal management was terriffic. Good benefits and incentive programs.

ConsThe corporate programs which treated managers and supervisors all as if they were entry level employees. Micromanaged the employee appreciation process.

Advice to Senior ManagementCompletely overhaul your benefits team and start to relate to the frontline employee. You could reduce your HR team dramatically and drastically improve the individual employee experience.

Best company I have ever worked for!

    Outside Sales Representative (Current Employee)

ProsMy management is easily accessible, understanding and supportive. Great pay. Great benefits.

ConsThere have been many layoffs over the past 3 years. It has hurt some morale. No real career path or upward movement plan. Feel like I am in survival mode each year. Layoffs occur October and November each year.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe people who have direct access to the customers are the people that you should listen to the most. The numbers are not as they appear. Many of us feel like we are treading water waiting for the bottom to fall out.
