    Pros

You are getting paid and have a job.

    Cons

Doesn't feel like the job is worth the pay. Warehouse people feel like the red headed step child. Not much communication, management would brush off most of what you bring up.

    Advice to Management

Listen and act with not against.

    Pros

Great co-workers, good insurance, occasionally good bonus, innovator in intermodal and dcs operations, tuition reimbursement, locker room and workout area

    Cons

Dinky yearly raises, bonuses used in good years to keep raises low, but then used on other side when down year.... Well it's bonus, don't count on it, limited advancement, jobs don't pay til director level, poor training, long hours, lay offs and demotions in truck operations

    Advice to Management

LISTEN to your long time employees! Question the status quo and don't frown on those that do. PAY your employees! NWA had one of highest year over year increase in salaries around 7%. Average at Hunt is usually a little under 3%. Tighten things up in regards to detention revenue. Pass that on to drivers. Stop allowing DCS operations to surge in spring and take OTR trailers. Upper management.... Try to be more caring and cordial to employees. They can tell when you're faking it. Swap ASM, OSM folks with FM and ops managers from time to time. Might get some new views and ideas.

    Pros

Did not enjoy my time here at all

    Cons

Lots of talk about work life balance but working 6 days a week, 10+ hrs a day doesn't leave much time for that. If your looking for career growth, start kissing you know what early. It's all about who you know and who you blow!

    Advice to Management

Focus on retaining office employees as much as you do drivers.

    Pros

Financially stable company. Corporate is making an effort to improve itself and grow.

    Cons

Difficult to get recognized on merit alone, requires constant communication with management. Favoritism is prevalent. Can be stressful. Potentially long hours with weekend work on occasion.

    Advice to Management

    Promote from within when possible.

    Pros

20 bucks an hour was nice. They had newer trucks. I can't really think of anything else good about them.

    Cons

Management sucks. The truck I had broke down all the time. And they couldn't get me a rental or a different truck. Went about 3 weeks without pay before I had to quit because I couldn't afford being unemployed. Also they didn't get me my last check, about 450.

    Advice to Management

Fire the idiot that runs FMS in Minneapolis. Pay your employees their last check. I spent hours on the phone and it did no good. Seemed as though management had no idea what they were doing in Minneapolis at least. One job I will never go back to.
