    Pros

Nice and friendly interview, credit sales commission, relatively nice environment, generally friendly coworkers, and interesting experiences.
Pretty good for a first job or one that you work through college.

    Cons

Terrible closing shifts, some faulty equipment, manager turn over rate is high. If you don't make credit sales they minimize your work hours for the next pay period. If you make a lot of credit sales, they basically try to take over your life by giving you way too much overtime or calling you in on your days off.

    Advice to Management

Make sure the workers in areas where you have to fold clothes are doing their job at closing time so that others can get out near their scheduled time to leave work.

    Pros

At the time tenure was a big deal. Advancement opportunities were available. Pay was decent, good benefits including employee discount (which they still do despite what another review says)

    Cons

Shifts were too varied, set schedules seemed impossible to work around until I became management. Felt that recognition fell short at times. Tenure became ignored.

    Advice to Management

Recognize a job well done, make sure those that are hard workers are given advancement opportunities and pay based on experience.

    Pros

I had great floor managers and coworkers. The store I worked at had a wonderful work-environment, and the pay rate was decent. The generous employee discounts are a plus if you love clothing!

    Cons

The sales and credit goals that corporate gave the store were unrealistic, and a lot of unnecessary pressure was placed on management and employees to meet these goals. Also, corporate directive lacked continuity when it came to various company policies and procedures(sales, coupons, etc.) and this resulted in a lot of confusion for both the employees and customers.
