I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I met and worked with a lot of great customers and employees. There is an ability to make good money, have great benefits and is a career over "just" a job.

    Cons

I believe Chase as a company literally does NOT care about any employee enough to look into anything happening within their branches. HR IS NOT ON THE EMPLOYEES SIDE.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I filed a complaint on my manager for harassment and was fired 3 days later. It was not investigated by HR as an independent review. Chase allowed my manager for personal reasons to ruin my career in the financial industry by lying about the reason I was terminated and noted my U4.

    Cons

They make you slog day and Night
    Pay is terrible
    Benefits are horrible

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees better . Stop using perfomance management as a way to get rid of Good employees. It is not acceptable that a 5 star rated employee becomes one star next year and the employees are put on notice when the management gets bonuses.

I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Company name holds a lot of weight. Very well known.

    Cons

Work/life balance, banker hours, management structure, Saturday hours, company values.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Employees have lives as well as you do. Change the incentive plan a bit to keep employees motivated. Give the little people bonuses, we keep the lights on for chase with all we do. Take the OSAT away. We can't always say yes because of the rules you have in place.

I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great opportunity to move and work in different locations across the country

    Cons

The company is so large that Corporate can not manage or is aware of the unethical activity that is happening

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your DM and MM have a cover up mentality and does not always carry out the company's objective therefore creating a horrible work environment. So more accountability

I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

None that I can think of.

    Cons

Never had a sales manager last for more than 3-6 months, long periods of time with no manager at all. No help from licensed bankers or bank staff, management, etc. in achieving sales goals. Forced to work extra long hours and weekends even though I was on commission.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better management, support from local branches and cross selling superstars to help meet goals.

    Pros

I can not think of anything I liked about the place. Other than they sent me on business trips around the world. But even though I didn't really enjoy them.

    Cons

It's a horrible place to work. Very bureaucratic. Very lacking in motivation.

    Pros

Big company, good perks, vacation pay.

    Cons

The managers could care less about your career. Total oligarchy with little chance to be promoted. Some MD's will retaliate if you give them a bad review on their 360 reviews.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
