    Pros

They treat employees with respect and the number one goal is always customer satisfaction, "say yes to the guest" and its a pretty easy job.

    Cons

Rotating schedule, but it should be expected!

I have been working at Jack in the Box full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

This company and location is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to work hard and carries a strong sense for "teamwork". The amount of hours you receive is based on your performance which helps increase everyone's work ethic and also eliminates those who believe that simply showing up is their job. They offer promotion opportunities that are solely determined based on all around performance and the ability to excel in the majority of tasks at hand while meeting your speed of service quota in the midst of a very high volume atmosphere. Within my first two months of working for this company with zero prior experience in fast food I was offered a promotion to become a team leader. Thus proving to me that hard work does pay off if you're willing to give your all.

    Cons

As with every job in America, there will always be certain things, situations, and people that can make your work environment less appealing, but as I mentioned on the topic of hours based on performance, they are also based on your attitude while in uniform. This company demands high expectations in customer service and satisfaction, as well as following procedure and even though this is definitely a pro compared to a con for me, some would see this to be a conflict ion to their preference in work environment and everyday standards.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to do what you're doing and this location will continue to excel in every aspect. There is always room for improvement simply because perfection isn't found in this field of work, but as an employee to this company, and having the opportunity to continue to gain knowledge in all categories, while having strong management of all levels who are willing to teach, I believe there isn't much more you could ask from this staff, most importantly, to simply ask yourself how dedicated you are to put in the long hard hours to move up within the company and become successful.

I have been working at Jack in the Box part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Learning good customer service, work-life balance, very lax on appearance (at least in my district), flexible hours, fun staff, learning how to be fast and work under pressure

    Cons

Training is an absolute joke. Hours could get traded up for newer employees. Some employees don't always follow food safety requirements (ie. not wearing gloves when preparing food, washing hands regularly). Sales come in bursts, sometimes there will not be a customer for a solid hour, so it gets very slow. People don't carry their weight and portion/prep food or ingredients.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please ensure your managers don't scare people to the point of employees constantly quitting, no matter how "good" the store is with them. A store isn't good when your employees literally cower in fear under their GM.

Managment does the best they can for the staff with scheduling and days off but it is a customer driven environment so expect to work holidays and such.

Fast food is an extremely fast paced business to work in with the monetary rewards being minimal.

I have been working at Jack in the Box full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Usually, managers can at least try to accomodate your schedule to balance school and work life. That isn't always the case, though. The best benefit that a job like this could give you is serving as a starting point with which you could start out your work experience. It's also possible to make some friends out of your workmates.

    Cons

Oftentimes, managers will cut hours from your schedule to the point where it doesn't make sense to waste your time for a few hours, and then get a laughable check at the end of the pay period. Also, expect to be given additional experience over time, without a reciprocal pay raise.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I understand that you're trying to run a business and manage everything as best as you can, but try to be more personable and understanding to your customers as well. Also, and this is a biggie, treat all workers equally and fairly. There are always those who do most of the work while others lounge around and wait until their shift is over.

I have been working at Jack in the Box full-time

    Pros

Enjoyed the coworkers, and enjoyed the free coffee, other than that no positives.

    Cons

Again, No leadership. The worst problem was having the head managers of every department spend their time together instead of in their own departments.
