    Pros

    Smaller teams, so one got a large amount of responsibility. Went to meetings all of the time. Worked in the Tech group on M&A, debt and IPOs. Worked across the tech sector.

    Cons

    Extremely long hours - normal banking complaint. Associates / VPs did little - normal banking complaint.

    Advice to Management

    If you call it a team, someone other than the Analyst should be doing actual excel / ppt work sometimes. Iterating 25x is not a necessity.

    Entrepreneurial, good CEO, flexible management, less bureaucracy compared to the big banks

    Pros

    Exposure to senior bankers, solid deal flow and ability to interface with clients at a junior level

    Hours and compensation are not the best, but still competitive with market
