ProsRewarding, change peoples lives, flexible, different everyday, fun, meeting new people, developing strong relationships and learning great motivation skills

ConsNot consistent because, of the way the compensation is at the time.The weight loss/food purchases fluctuates so much with clients during holidays, vacations and summer time.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Family Type Atmosphere

I worked at Jenny Craig full-time for more than a year

ProsI loved my coworkers and the clients that we saw. Making a difference in their lives was really what it was all about. We would always try to think of fun and creative ways to get people involved in improving their health and wellness within our community. I really was able to build strong bonds with the people that I interacted with every day. This job also gave me an excellent work/life balance!

ConsThere are a lot of outbound calls. Many times, the clients are not excited to hear from you or they will hang up the phone. I think it is always important to remember that those are usually the ones that are the furthest from reaching their goals. You can't take it personally. It is always exciting though when you get ahold of someone and they say they are so glad you called. All it takes is one to make the difference.

Advice to Senior ManagementI have been both a Program Director and Centre Director. I was really fortunate that all of the managers that I had were excellent. They made it fun to work their and when I was a manager myself, they gave me the freedom to explore new ideas with my team.

I worked at Jenny Craig full-time for more than 3 years

ProsThe one on one support is what sets the Jenny program ahead in the weight loss business. Supporting Clients and watching their success made me feel good to go to work everyday. I made good money for the work I did. Made lots of connections and friendships I'll take with me when I go.

ConsThe food is too expensive. So many times it was so hard having to say goodbye to clients before their weightloss was complete because they couldn't afford to continue.

Advice to Senior ManagementRaise the conultants hourly wage to compensate for the clients not buying the JC food, and doing more food on their own.
