    Travel Administrator Intern

Travel Administrator (Current Employee) Milwaukee, WI

ProsYou get to learn much about the business and how it runs. People are very nice and helpful, they will provide you with the necessary information you need in order to get things done.

ConsThings might seems a bit organized at times and executives don't normally communicate properly to lower tears of the company. They announce major changes within 1-2 weeks and expect you to adapt in that time.

Advice to Senior ManagementMake sure to have detailed project plans for interns and offer a hiring plan for when the internship is over.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Wonderful people, great teams.

Staff Engineer (Former Employee) Milwaukee, WI

ProsThe best reason to work there is to have the opportunity to work with talented, motivated people. The teams were great to work with.

ConsIt was challenging to stay on top of a quickly evolving industry with remote teams. I believe that JCI is more comfortable with on-site teams.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep hiring good people.

Great company to work for, with great people

Account Team Lead (Current Employee) Milwaukee, WI

ProsLax schedule, great teams, and interesting projects. Pay is reasonable, and opportunities are prevalent.

ConsMentoring doesn't really come to you unless you actively pursue the person, time off is not very good, and open concept style is not very good for certain aspects of the job.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to your employees.

I had a bittersweet experience, it was wonderful as an employee and less wonderful as a contractor.

Documentation Specialist (Former Employee) Milwaukee, WI

ProsThe company seems to genuinely care about its employees and the communities in which they work. If you are a FTE or intern there are a lot of opportunities for growth. Everyone shows up to work to make the company better and more profitable.

ConsThere's less job security as a contractor. Some contractors or consultants have been there upwards to a few years, others a few months. You're better as a FTE.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe transparent. Your employees are smart and can sense when changes are going to be made. Be clear and honest from the beginning.
