Former Intern - Finance Co-Op in Raritan, NJ

I worked at Johnson & Johnson as an intern (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Typically only work 40 hours per week, flexible work schedule if you need to stay home or the roads are bad, summer Friday's, focused on your career development.

    Cons

A rotational based company (at least within in finance) makes it hard to buy a home or stay in one specific area. Pays in line with "average" healthcare companies but in reality it pays below other most big healthcare companies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't make a rotational career basically necessary to get promoted. Other people who rotate to other cities or location get priority, but it's hard to uproot a family knowing it'll only be for 1.5-3 years.

    Cons

Filling a role does not translate to a true intern experience; your daily duties are all encompassing and branching out to different tasks is rather difficult.
