My experience at JMM was one I would never have wanted to miss.

    Pros

Employment wise, the wages and health benefits are comparable. If you are called to the ministry you will not fail! No place else will pay you to pray!

    Cons

    1. Mandatory OT puts a snare in time with God and involvement in Church. 2. Some management ways can be hurtful, resulting in unhappy workers, which can hamper the output of quality work.

    Advice to Management

On site Christian Councelling would have been a real plus and could help people who have not dealt with old issues or new issues in their lives.

    Pros

I have worked at JMM for over 8 years. In that time I have been promoted several times. I appreciate the integrity of the leadership team and the heart they have to support the mission and vision of the ministry. I have always been fairly paid, even as a non-profit JMM pays well. The company values of Love, Faith, Unity, Excellence, and Integrity are great foundations. In my experience leadership strives to live by them. I have found the ministry to be supportive, surprisingly progressive for a Christian ministry, and well organized as a business.

    Cons

Communication hasn't always been the best. Executive Leadership could do a better job with it. Changes happen but they aren't always communicated well. Policies aren't always consistently followed, but that has gotten better over the years.

    Advice to Management

Communicate changes (as much as possible) in advance so employees can adjust to them better. Please follow your own policies and work together to be consistent in them.
