I have been working at KPMG US

    Pros

Offers a lot of career development and opportunities to learn. Also, working for a big firm allows access to professional and social events that might not otherwise be accessible working for a smaller company.

    Cons

Lack of stability and uncertainty of when/where the next project will be. Also, is not the most friendly atmosphere for someone new joining.

I have been working at KPMG US

    Pros

Amazing people to work with. They care about their people. I love the 5 weeks of vacation.

    Cons

It's public accounting... so the work is not too exciting and the hours can be long with not great compensation.

I have been working at KPMG US

    Pros

great trainings, fixed promotion track, vacation, people, diverse opportunities, learning experiences, friendships with co-workers, down-to-earth partners and managers (in my experiences).

    Cons

"live to work" culture, excessive and ever changing audit standards that required longer hours, often unrealistic deadlines and budgets

I have been working at KPMG US

    Pros

I am able to work independently and I never felt like I was micro-managed. In addition, the leaders always make me feel like my opinion counts

    Cons

It is very hard to work with senior leadership, at times. Since the leaders are out in the market trying to generate new business, they don't have much time to spend with their teams

I have been working at KPMG US

    Pros

Working at KPMG was one of the best career moves I ever made. I was given lots of responsibility on projects, I worked with ambitious and educated co-workers, and I was rewarded financially at year-end for all the extra hours I worked late night and on weekends.

I would highly recommend a position at this firm for those just entering the workforce upon graduating college.

    Cons

While my efforts were recognized and rewarded, if you want to work with another manager or partner, you need to speak up, politely.

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
