    Cons

Associates work very long hours, but you know what you are getting into.

    Advice to Management

Continue to provide strong mentorship programs.

    Pros

KPMG is a great place to work and the people are friendly. There is a lot of room for growth.

    Cons

There are relatively few cons to working at KPMG. The cons depends on the group you work for. The only con is that there is not enough office space in New York

    Advice to Management

There is not enough space for offices for everyone and the technology is a bit outdated. We must update our technology.

    Pros

Great career growth; company really seems to care about its employees (at least the ones who demonstrate loyalty and hard work); great opportunities across many different functions and service groups.

    Cons

It's such a big company, that sometimes it can be easy to get lost in the shuffle if you aren't proactive. You need to be decisive about managing your own career, and make sure you're always marketing yourself within the firm.

    Advice to Management

Great choice on the new chairman (Lynn). Continue to push the Advisory function, as that's the biggest growth function for the future. Continue to push innovation in as many areas as possible and focus on the existing SGIs.
