I have been working at Keller Williams

    Pros

They offer tons of training and they set you up for success. They have daily training sessions for all aspects of real estate.

It is very much a family atmosphere at Keller Williams. Everyone is willing to help you out if you ask.

    Cons

All commission and no benefits but that is just the business. When you find a real estate company that offers benefits, sign me up!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management is very helpful so there is not much advice besides keep doing your thing.

    Pros

A community of agents and KW staff are there to help and are excited to see you succeed. A very positive, healthy workplace if you choose to be a part of it.

    Cons

You are ultimately on your own, as your own business. Need to be or become a go-getter

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure your team focused agents are getting proper leadership training.

I have been working at Keller Williams full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Excellent culture. Agents are friendly and helpful, unlike other brokerages with a "sink or swim" or "free-for-all" approach.
Great education. Tons of free classes, training opportunities, and online resources. KW lives up to its claim of being "an education company disguised as a real estate brokerage".
Team brand/model. Business structure focuses on team branding rather than brokerage branding. Freedom to create your own company within a company. Focus on expansion and leverage for big picture thinkers.

    Cons

    Lots of red kool aid.

I have been working at Keller Williams full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

I love the fact that the agents with the most experience take time to teach classes in IGNITE. The program teaches new agents & seasoned agents about selling presentation to how to hold a successful open house.

If you get with the right team leader you will never be confused, unprepared, or alone.

It's a family atmosphere, community involvement with KW Cares, & a continuous learning environment.

    Cons

Regardless of what it's 100% commission & you work for every cent you make.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep improving learning tools & updating vendors
