    Great company-only one problem

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsKellogg offers a great, safe workplace. I had continued support and training to ensure I was adequately equipped to lead my employees.

ConsLocal manager was a lying, back stabbing leader who knew how to talk up the ladder as well as he did down the ladder. He was confused about his own leadership, one day he wanted to build a team-next day everyone was terrible and he would tell you why. He was a nothing was ever good enough guy, even small victories were later used against you.

Advice to Senior ManagementMove is guy to a corporate role where he interacts briefly with employees-he is brilliant however he is an absolute nutcase to work for.

    Enjoyable Sales Internship

    Intern - Hourly (Former Employee)

Pros-Good compensation, ,multiple visits to headquarters for orientation and trainings, exposure to different sales functions (Accounts, Foodservice, Distribution, etc), company car, laptop, and phone, moving stipend opportunity to meet the CEO, presented final project to senior management, potential full time offer

Cons-Lots of time spent stocking shelves, DSD is a stressful business to work in, headquarters and regional offices were sometimes out of sync on what the objective of the internship was

    Great place to work.

I Have Been Working At the Kellogg Company for 1+ Years (Former Employee) Battle Creek, MI

ProsFair compensation coupled with an abundance of opportunities for both personal and professional growth within the organization. Hard-working, friendly team members from diverse backgrounds.

ConsWork-life balance is less than ideal at times, but it comes with the territory. Slow to adapt and react to industry trends. At times too much emphasis is placed on frivolous team building, rather than building the business and striving for innovation.
