Opportunities abound for the willing and able.

Field Engineer (Current Employee) Denver, CO

ProsHighly respected company with many opportunities for those willing to seize them. Smart and talented people are rewarded with responsibility and good pay.

ConsKiewit is a machine powered by complicated systems and paperwork. Be prepared to wear many hats - Engineer, accountant, manager, laborer, janitor, and computer technician to name a few.

Advice to Senior ManagementPeople are your biggest and only true asset. All of the systems in the world are useless without people to run them.

    Great place to work

Enterprise Architect (Current Employee) Omaha, NE

ProsExcellent opportunities to grow if you are capable of handling the responsibility. Great compensation and benefits. A company truly in it for the long haul.

ConsWhile the construction side of the house is very mature (>100 years) and experienced, some other parts of the company are immature and in need of growth (accounting, IT, security, etc)

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep growing the company and don't be afraid to expand into areas outside strictly construction and contracting.

Most resourceful internship process anyone could ask for.

    Intern (Current Employee) Omaha, NE

ProsGain a wide variety of experience and knowledge about the company as a whole and the construction industry.

ConsThe only really con, that most people might not even consider a con is that they don't put too much work onto you as an intern. I wish it was a bit more challenging at times, although I did gain a lot of knowledge from some of the more challenging assignments.
