I worked at Kraft Foods full-time

    Pros

Extremely strong brand portfolio, broad range of roles and opportunities, enough critical mass to be taken seriously by retail trade customers and competitors.

    Cons

Culture never really cohesive, due to pattern of mergers and de-mergers without true integration. Employees tended to identify by the business they were in when acquired by Kraft.

    Advice to Management

Make new visions and missions real and embraceable following Heinz merger; give employees good reason to believe that this merger is truly about creating one well-operating company.

I have been working at Kraft Foods full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I worked at Kraft 15 years and it's been a great ride. Being a working Mom I have never been challenged to advance within the organization. I even was supported with the opportunity to work part-time. Although we all know things are going to change on Monday, Kraft will always have a place in my heart.

    Cons

Kraft didn't move fast enough to compete with Private Equity firms so thus we are being overtaken by one and it's not going to be pretty.

    Advice to Management

I wish you all would have done more and acted like the owners you asked us to be. Good luck to all of you with your golden parachutes and pray for the 20% who will be looking for new jobs with families to support.

    Pros

Great people. Opportunity to thrive in a dynamic CPG environment. Flexible work environment for mothers and fathers. Updated offices in Northfield, IL and downtown Chicago location.

    Cons

Company needs to add more natural, organic food options to their portfolio. Does not have their pulse on changing trends in CPG industry. Long commute for Chicago city residents to Northfield, IL.
