    Pros

Kroger really takes care of their interns. They provide an amazing enviornment to learn in with competitive pay. I felt the innovative technology of Kroger kept up in the retail aspect.

    Cons

Kroger is really all about what store you are in. My specific store had a huge amount of prescriptions on a daily basis which added a bunch of stress. Also, Kroger does not give Pharmacist breaks, which could lead to medication errors.

    Advice to Management

Do not start turning into a machine that ultimately focuses on numbers. Human capital is the most important capital. If you invest in that alone, your company will flourish.

    Pros

If you can deal...you can move up quick.

    Cons

Pay...biggest issue. The company is Union and this helps some but keeps the bad with the good.

    Advice to Management

Treat people like they matter. Train your people. Then don't just throw them where you want.

    Pros

Kroger is a nice company to work for. Everyone seams very nice and helpful. I think it's a good place to work.

    Cons

The pay is not adequate for this day and age. I feel they should take a page from Walmart and pay people a little more and they will definitely work better.
