I worked at L Brands full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great benefits, I met some very nice & talented people, the work was interesting & challenging

    Cons

You need to brown-nose in order to advance, you need to drink the kook-aid in order to advance, so many people in upper management positions have worked here and NOWHERE else, so there is no other experience to draw from. There is no individuality. HR is useless.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would give advice, but nobody listens.

  7.

Strong establishment with room for growth.

    I worked at L Brands

    Pros

The company has solid interdepartmental structure and hires people to grow with the company. I was here when they were seeking to branch off one of their departments on its own, so there was a lot of restructuring, growth, and development. There was also a pretty healthy workplace culture considering its position in the retail and fashion industry.

    Cons

Limited feedback loops, due to large size. Sometimes there are gaps in communication in what needs to be done from the higher ups, but this may be due to lack of people there to help others onboard with technical and logistical resources. When a member lags, it causes bottlenecking of other processes (but this is a problem many larger establishments face).
