    London School of Economics (Student representative,Accounting Dept)-London,UK Oct 2013-July 2014
    initiated and organised several meeting whereby various issues pertaining to student welfare were discussed with professors and appropriate actions were taken
    organised several events such as talk shows with guest speakers, exam workshops,career events and alumni & networking events

    Cons

    could improve on training as well as assistance provided to students
    Nevertheless,the opportunities provided really helped me grow as an individual.

    Money-could earn much more in private sector
    People are sometimes too pushy re. career progression i.e. not everybody wants to climb the ladder

    Great students, central London location, renowned reputation. Opportunity to play a role in major public and policy debates. Focus on research

    Cons

    Apathy of tenured staff toward anyone non-tenured, salaries too law for location, poor communication between departments, not enough career support for early-career staff.

    Best academic environment with excellent professors
    Excellent facilities
    In the center of London
    Huge Brand name in UK and globally

    Cons

    Not so organised in terms of career services
    The alumni is not so well connected with the university
    LSE should organise more events with firms, each department should do it
