    Pros

    At the beginning looks lie a solid company with a great values, good place to make a career, a lot of employees with a lot of years of emploment

    Cons

    Base Salary with a long hours with pay, 10 to 12 hours shift, no loyal employees

    Pros

    It's a pay check. Nothing more than that

    Cons

    They do not allow you to staff up to the level that will make you productive and then blame you for the failures. They have a culture of pointing fingers to blame other departments to the point of making up excuses for failures.

    Take responsibility. Be honest.

    Pros

    Good starting salary for supervisors.

    Cons

    No salary increase since 2002, thankless job, impossible to do a good job with resources available. No team management, executives use blame management rather than insuring mid management are in positions that they can be successful.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Respect your hard working dedicated employees and they will respect management. Instead of blame, give all the tools needed, and put employees in a position that is not impossible to succeed.

    Pros

    The only real reason to work here is if you are out of a job because "little money" is better then no money

    Cons

    Low pay for the time you put in (8hrs) (include tax reductions) of your pay check, You are spoken to as if you are a child by other employers and staff, You are not trained long enough to get a vice grip on a specific job, People who been there longer are treated way better than new hires, They constantly hire because people are constantly quitting,

    This was the worst job I ever had...You guys should practice what you preach because what I was told in orientation never happened the time I was there...treat your employees with respect and dignity!

    Pros

    This place will always keep you moving and make you face challenges you never could believe to be possible. If you are looking for somewhere that will keep you thinking non stop this is the place to go.

    Cons

    They do not have any real training. You are basically thrown in and left with a, "sink or swim", mentality.

    Pros

    -Somewhat challenging projects.
    -Close to home

    Cons

    -The whole system is dysfunctional. People who are not educated (regular manufacturing staff) is treated terribly with no regard for their feelings.
    -People are never recognized unless you are a "teacher's pet".
    -Management believes they are better than everyone. No focus on developing the manufacturing staff, or for that matter any other folks even other managers.
    -Incredibly bad work-life balance. I remember I worked well over 16 hours everyday.
    -Absolutely no way to move up. If you want to learn more, you get shut down quickly.
    -Absolutely no company culture and no values/vision to align employees to. Just absolutely a mess.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop treating people so terribly. Start organizing the business, and restructure it if you have to. You site management is somewhat sketchy and very unreliable. No wonder LSG is gonna go out of business soon.

    If you have no where else to work

    Cons

    Long hours, low pay. Very unfriendly working environment and managers yelled and screamed at employees. Very high turnover rate. This company is always hiring because people are quitting all the time. Worst company that I ever worked for.

    getting experience that can relate to a future employer

    everything; the senior management has NO CLUE what they are doing and are driving the NY market into the ground; they don't care about you as a person; it is a thankless company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Remove just about everyone from the NY Market and put in people that have a personality, that can relate to their employees and who care if the business does well or not.

    Pros

    Decent pay and benefits and plenty hours of overtime available. Hourly employees do their best under trying circumstances.

    Cons

    Upper management relies on being heavy handed to get their point across. Too much yelling and screaming from upper management down to lower levels.

    Listen to your people, they know how to get the job done.
