I have been working at LVMH as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

Obviously working for LVMH, the name says it all.
The location, the free lunches, random giveaways, sample sales, Summer Fridays.

    Cons

    Communication lacks.
If you don't speak French - you will be an outsider 100%.
Management expects you, somehow, to read their minds on what they want you to do while everyone else gets sent to lavish destination "meetings" in Paris and California for weeks at a time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If people didn't walk around with their noses in the air then the place would evolve much better. It's funny to see these average people, walking around NYC, yet as soon as they hit the LVMH Tower it's like some type of royalty has swept over them.

The bottom line is, no matter what you're doing, what brand or what you're selling - shouldn't define how you work or act. It's all superficial bull in the end.

Current Employee - Supply Chiain Intern in New York, NY

I have been working at LVMH as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

    Young Employees
Lots of Free Coffee and Snacks
    Reasonably laid back environment
Plenty of opportunity to peruse interests if motivated

    Cons

Lots of (but not all) rudimentary/mindless work
    Minimal training
    Long hours expected
The normal lack of eventfulness that is associated with the kind of job where you sit at a computer 90% of the time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Doing a pretty good jobs so far as I can tell. Could probably have a better system for training new employees. Generally however, I have found them to be upfront, friendly, and understanding.
