    I worked at Labor Ready

    Pros

Great growing company. Good training programs. Good people to work with and for.

    Cons

Possibly that parent Company TrueBlue is growing too fast. Too many people coming aboard from acquisitions. Pay for Branch Managers is lower than other Staffing Companies. Healthcare Benefits have become extremely costly and have become poor. This being a problem everywhere these days, these benefits used to be great at Labor Ready.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Follow job posting protocol so that potential candidates may emerge for future promotions and positions.

I have been working at Labor Ready part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Pay is daily. This helps if you have an immediate need for cash. May open up opportunities which may not be otherwise available.

    Cons

Temp work is not guaranteed or stable. Often dispatched to very labor intensive jobs for minimum wage. Sometime you get lucky.

    Pros

I got to work with a lot of nice and interesting people.

    Cons

That the branch manager was always changing the goals for the week in the middle of the week plus he was never in the office to oversee things.
