    Interviewed and ignored

I have been working at Legg Mason

    Pros

I was treated courteously before the final interview.

    Cons

I had a phone interview and an in person interview that both supposedly went extremely well and was told that they would contact me in the next week for a second in person interview. It has been about a month and they filled the position, while ignoring two follow up emails inquiring about the status of my application.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you take the time to have an in person interview with a candidate and then decide not to hire that person it should be common courtesy to tell that person in some way or manner. This should be especially expected from a firm of Legg Mason's size.

    I worked at Legg Mason

    Pros

The health care benefits and compensation were decent.

    Cons

Lack of accountability from middle and senior management. Middle management direction maintained by a few within the inner circle. They just recycle the same empty suits and place them in different positions. A very incestuous crew with no regard for the individuals that produce. No clear direction with poor decision making. No a good work culture.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A day late and a dollar short

    Disapproves of CEO
