Huge company that is attempting to get a grip on all of its acquired businesses.

Planner (Current Employee) New York, NY

ProsExcellent health benefit packages. Great investment in new software to maintain accuracy and data integrity in both a top-side down and a bottom-side up integration of all business categories and clients across all businesse.

ConsPoor communication within business departments and across all specific customer accounts

Advice to Senior ManagementI realize you (LFUSA Managment) are spending a great deal of money to educate top executives from around the world in Asia, but you should do more for younger executives who will benefit from thoes courses so much more given their younger age, their desire to learn new things to help their business and propell their careers, and their youthful willingness to see and do things differently for improved results. Currently the executives you're targeting are too old and set in their own ways and modalities when it comes to exicuting what needs to be done for their businesses. In short you're wasting money on older employees that will not utilize enough of the strategies and practices they are being taught because they favor the way they have been doing things for the past decade or two.

ProsBenefits are great with complete medical coverage and generous PTO days compared to others in the same industry.

ConsThey do not care about the average employee. no one is hard unless you are part out of the senior executive team.

    Li & Fung

Account Executive (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsThey offer very good health benefits.

ConsThey are constantly buying up companies to expand the company. If you are part of a company that is bought nothing changes initially and then once Li & Fung comes in many red tape processes are put in place.

Advice to Senior ManagementI have no doubt that the mgmt team at Li & Fung is extremely competent. However, when decisions regarding mergers are made it feels as though there is no strategy in place until the merger is already in process. As an employee is very frustrating and concerning.
